When winter approaches it also brings various skin problems such as dryness, flakiness and sometimes eczema too. When we go to office or any place our face turns dry and then we try to curb it with heavy use moisturizer which is wrong. Here I am going to provide you some tips which are not only going to help you to combat dryness but also they are completely natural and easily available.

  1. Coconut Oil: I would term coconut oil as the oil of the century. Cleopatra used it in her beauty regime and we all are no less than Cleopatra. But the question arises HOW TO USE COCONUT OIL.

The correct time is night. When you are about to sleep. First clean your face with a mild cleanser as the strong one will further irritate the skin. For cleaning you can , Fab India’s Avacodo face wash priced at Rs.240.Quite nominal and the results are good. During winters prefer to use lukewarm water and never apply hot water on face as that will take away all the moister from your face.

Then after cleansing gently massage Coconut Oil on your face. If it is harden, then warm a bit and apply on your face and neck and massage well for 7 to 10 minutes at least. Then gently wipe off your face with cotton ball to remove extra oil and go to sleep.

Repeat for a week and see the shine your face.

  1. Papaya and Honey Pack

Ingredients

Honey 1 spoon

Ripe Papaya Pulp 1 Spoon

Honey as we all know has the anti fungal properties and papaya has the healing properties. Mix both the ingredients in the bowl and apply on the face and neck. Leave it for 10 minutes and wash it off after that.

You can instantly feel freshness in you. It can be applied twice a week.

  1. Milk and Almond Face Pack:

1 Spoon Milk

1/2 Spoon Almond Powder

Almonds have properties which can lighten and tighten your skin.Milk on the other hand has lactic acid which helps in overcoming dryness.

It is very easy face pack and you need are both the ingredients.

Grind around 10 almonds to make the fine powder and then mix it with the milk making a mixture which is not too drippy. Note: If it is drippy it won’t stay on the face.

It can be applied twice a week.

  1. Banana and Olive Oil Pack:

1 Spoon mashed Banana

1/2 Spoon Oilve Oil

Banana has linoleic acid which helps in fighting dryness and  to anti itch and many more benefits. One can use it for massage also as it lighten and tighten the skin. It helps in building the collagen fibres which results in the skin elasticity.

It can be applied twice a week.

  1. Saffron and Milk:

Saffron is long time regarded as the beauty secret in the world. From the valleys of Kashmir it travels to all parts of the world and gives its fragrance and fairness the world. The cost of Saffron may stop you to use it in the beauty process but don’t think about it as the results are extremely favorable for the skin.

Saffron has anti dryness and fairness properties which helps in making our face glow and shine. Mix few strands of saffron in milk and apply on face and evenly. It has drippy consistency so apply it with care. Keep it for 15 to 20 minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water and some oil will remain at the face making it naturally moisturized.

It can be applied thrice a week.
